Recap of Part 1-10
- Part 1: In Week 1, we learned through the first 3 verses of Hebrews 11 that Faith Knows and Hopes.
- Part 2: Then through Abel we saw that Faith brings us into relationship with God and Faith Worships God as God.
- Part 3: Through Enoch we saw that Faith Walks. It is walked out day by day. In verse 6 of Hebrews 11, we see that without Faith, it is impossible to please God. That Faith without works is dead, but works without Faith is dead as well. We see that God also is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So not only is God, God. But God is Good!
- Part 4: Through Noah we saw that Faith works in more ways than one. And that Faith sometimes requires action on our part.
- Part 5: Through Abraham we saw that Faith Obeys and Faith Moves!
- Part 6: Through Sarah we saw that Faith Strengthens and that Faith gives brings forth life!
- Part 7: In verses 13-16 we saw that Faith Seeks and Faith Desires God above this world and everything it has to offer.
- Part 8: In verses 17-19 we saw through Abraham and Isaac that Faith is Tested and that Faith Trusts God through the test.
- Part 9: Through Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph we see that Faith is Prophetic. That it is our Faith that helps us get through the here and the now, whatever we may be facing here and now, good or bad. And that Faith gives us Hope for the Future.
- Part 10: Then last week in verses 24-29 with the life of Moses, we saw that Faith is Courageous!

Hebrews 11:30-31
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
Joshua 2:8-11
8 Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof, 9 and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you. 10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. 11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

Joshua 5:1
1 And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.
Joshua 6:1-5
1 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. 2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

What walls do you want to see come down?
Romans 8:31-32
“If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?”
Faith Saves: If you do not know that you know today that you are saved, and the blood of Jesus has been applied to your life you can know that today.
Faith brings Peace: maybe you need Peace in a certain situation, no matter what it is, He can give you that Peace
Faith Waits: Maybe you find yourself in a waiting period on God and you need the strength and the patience that can only come from Him to help you this morning, HE can do that for you
Faith brings forth Praise: Maybe its past the time for your silence and God is just waiting for your Praise in Faith to break out and you will see those walls fall…..
